CLINTON, OK (June 6, 2013) – INTEGRIS Clinton Regional Hospital announces the opening of their new walk-in clinic. The Clinton Walk-In Clinic recently opened to the public at 123 S. 9th, at the corner of 9th and Avant, and welcomes Tamara Grabeal, MSN, RN, ARNP as the new provider in that clinic.
Tamara Grabeal received her Master or Science in Nursing degree from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa in 2003, and most recently worked as a family nurse practitioner and hospitalist for Oklahoma Heart Hospital, and as a provider for various Walk-In/Urgent Care clinics in the metro area for Mercy Health Systems.
Grabeal is a licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, and is credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In addition, she is a Certified Diabetes Educator.
Darcey O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer at INTEGRIS Clinton had this to say about the new addition. “We are excited to welcome Tamara Grabeal to our hospital. With the opening of the new clinic, she will provide improved access to quality care and services to the residents of Clinton. We are continuing to grow here at INTEGRIS Clinton, and I hope this is just the tip of the iceberg as we continue our efforts to recruit additional providers and expand our service lines.”
The clinic will initially be open five days a week from 10 am – 7 pm, and as the practice grows, the plan is to expand the operating hours to allow for weekend coverage. The clinic is open to walk-in patients and is ideal for patients seeking treatment for minor medical problems that are too serious to wait until the next day, but not bad enough for a trip to the emergency room.
